The reader works with any access control system that uses RS-485 or WIEGAND data transmission. DESFire is an upgrade from
to MIFARE Classic, with better security transmission between the reader and the transponder (card, key ring). The DESFire support used in the device is fully compatible with the older MIFARE Classic standard (including sector reading) and the ability to read CSN numbers from the MIFARE/DESFire card family. Individual transmission keys are generated for each end customer to ensure maximum security of their access control system.
