Description
The solution eliminates the need for physical cards, wired transmission infrastructure, and provides quick integration in technically challenged areas. The converter allows remote authorization of access to protected areas using a cell phone, without the need to install additional readers at entrances.
The device identifies the user based on the phone number. A call from an authorized number is automatically rejected, and the number is sent to the controller in WIEGAND format as a virtual identifier. The controller interprets it like a classic access card and makes a decision to grant or deny access on this basis.
The module is equipped with 2 digital inputs and 2 relay outputs, allowing monitoring the status of external devices (e.g. sensors, induction loops) and remote control of system components such as gates, lighting, or alarm systems. Operation is realized by phone calls, SMS or mobile application (Android™).
The system works independently of wired infrastructure – all that is needed is cellular network coverage. Depending on the software version, integration with smart building solutions is possible, making the converter a flexible tool for home and industrial automation applications.
Remote access control – enables management of access to protected facilities and zones without the need for a local network infrastructure; ideal for locations with limited connectivity or vulnerable to sabotage.
Authorization by phone – a call from an authorized number is all that is needed to unlock the passage; no coverage problems as with classic RFID readers.
SMS commands – functions of the device can be called via text messages, such as opening the gate, turning on the light, starting the recorder.
Android™ app – an intuitive mobile interface allows you to configure and operate multiple converters from a single device.
No physical access cards – the phone number acts as a user ID; permissions can be granted and revoked remotely, without the need to issue cards.
Remote control of devices – two relay outputs allow activation of actuators, such as electric locks, lighting or IP cameras.
Monitoring inputs – two digital inputs allow the connection of sensors (e.g., induction loops, curbs), enabling supervision of infrastructure status (e.g., gate position, vehicle presence).
Independence from wired infrastructure – the device does not require connection to LANs, Wi-Fi or transmission cables; GSM network coverage is sufficient, ensuring flexible and reliable operation in any location and environmental conditions.
